Academy of Forensic Sciences

Mission Statement: The Academy of Forensic Sciences was organized in 1948 with the following objectives:

The promotion of education and elevation of accuracy, precision, and specificity in the forensic sciences,
Devotion to the administration and achievement of justice through the application of science through the process of law, and,
To advance the forensic scientist’s knowledge of classical and modern science and law.

Motto: Light and truth brought about by science and the written law.
